Your Property’s Digital Curb Appeal

by Scott on March 15, 2017

We’ve all been there: we’ve clicked onto a website and landed on a page garish, ugly or overwhelming. Chances are good, you clicked away pretty quickly. Scott Safadi of Cal Bay Property Management knows how important digital curb appeal matters – and how to get it. Follow these quick tips when working with your web designer:
  • Keep it simple. There’s no need for music that plays automatically or pop up windows to remind visitors of sales. Think of your page as an extension of your property – stick with neutral colors, photos of smiling residents and easy to access forms.
  • Make it mobile. With a smartphone in every hand, it pays to make your site mobile-friendly. Optimizing your page for mobile use is standard, but you’d be surprised by how many sites still direct visitors to the browser version.
  • Get people talking. If you build it, they will come is a strategy that might work for baseball fields, but not for websites. Instead of waiting for visitors, get social and share your site on Facebook, Twitter and all your social networks.
